Brought up in New Zealand with its stunning mountains and beautiful beaches, Hunter Stoneman-Boyle shows an affinity with both the sea and nature. From the young age of 14, he developed a passion for photography and began to capture images of the surroundings he loved. 

With an emphasis on surfing, mountains and lifestyle, Hunter’s work has a considered and symmetrical feel. Each photograph captures a unique moment in time, revealing a subtle point of view. His work explores the natural world and our interaction with these environments. 

With the dream of travelling the world to photograph surfing and skiing, Hunter is at his happiest with a camera in his hand and with nature close by.

Currently living in Auckland, New Zealand, Hunter enjoys skiing, mountain biking, music and chasing the surf and the snow! 

Contracting on a number of projects over the past few years, he’s a featured artist on the People of Nostalgia website and continues to build his portfolio.
